The wooden grip is made from a tree species "Wenju" characterised by its dark-brown colour and beautiful wood grain.
Due to the grip shape that spreads out slightly towards the tip, it is easy to grip.
Same as the KS model, there is an internal mechanism to reduce vibration at the tip of the pencil, which is the improved "Kuru Toga engine". On top of the improved Kuru Toga engine, there is a resin part called "Nib Damper" on the tip of the pen that softens the impact when writing. It is less likely to feel the movement of the pen tip, and gives you an even more stable writing experience.
As a Kuru Toga series mechanical pencil feature, the pencil lead turns a little during writing when the pen tip is lifted from the paper, so the lead stays sharp and clear.
