The New #3776 CENTURY Fuii Series- Fuji Unkei "Kinu Gumo"

In 2023, the "Fuji Unkei" series was born with the concept of expressing the image using various decorative methods, inspired by the beautiful scenery created by the collaboration of Mt. Fuji and the surrounding clouds.  As the third product in the series, "Kinu Gumo" takes on the challenge of new decoration.

Cutting expression using two types of engraving

Kinu-Gumo refers to cirrus clouds. "Kinu" in Japanese means silk, and cirrus clouds are characterized by their thin, delicate, fibrous, or feathery appearance, resembling silk. Fuji Unkei Kinu-Gumo expresses these characteristics delicately and dynamically with two techniques used for metal decoration: "guilloche engraving" and "V-blade engraving." By daring to create unengraved areas, the presence of clouds in the sky can be felt even more, and this is truly a cloud-scape.

Serial number

The nut inside the dome honors Mt. Fuji and is the signature of the Fuji series. The serial number is engraved on the dome.

"Nishiki-Oru-Fuji" Ink for the Fuji Unkei series

It comes with a 20ml-bottle of specially blended NIshiki-Oru-Fuji ink to commemorate its release. This ink is inspired by the autumn leaves that color the mountains surrounding Mt. Fuji. Depending on the light, golden reflections appear, allowing you to gaze upon the carpet of brocade. Enjoy the pleasures of autumn with this fountain pen.

The ink bottle cap features a three-dimensional illustration with the motif of Mt. Fuji with clouds.

Exclusive Box for Kinu Gumo

The special edition packaging features graphics inspired by "Kinu-Gumo." The set also includes a converter, an ink cartridge and a special-colored ink called "Nishiki-Oru-Fuji."

The #3776 CENTURY series is equipped with the "Slip & Seal Mechanism" that prevents ink from drying out in the pen with a complete airtightness
