Letterpress is an old printing technique that has continued to be in practice for about 500 years.  The unevenness created by the pressure from printing gives the paper its pleasant touch and aesthetic shadows. A distinct feeling of warmth thus emanates from the paper. Each piece of paper has slight variations in texture, such as printing irregularities and printing blurring. It is the artisanal quality that letter press uniquely offers.
