The Year of the Snake heralds a year of transformation and perseverance. Inspired by the legend of Lady White Snake, who was punished for falling in love with a kind-hearted scholar. Leifeng Pagoda where she is said to be trapped beneath stands at Xi Wu (West Lake) in Hangzhou, China, symbolizing love and sacrifice. Depicted here in a vibrant magenta and duochrome pink and green shimmer that will shift with every penstroke.

• Leifeng Pagoda stands tall in the distance, representing Lady White Snake watching over the whole of Xi Wu (West Lake).
• Hangzhou, China, is renowned for its lotuses, with Xi Wu being one of the prime locations. Its expansive landscape receives ample sunlight, enabling the lotuses on the lake to bloom in vibrant, vivid colours.
